Where are they now?
This is a quick history of some of the teams involved with the CFA over the past nine years.

Antalope Valley Dirt Devils 2004-2006
Members from 2004 team joined LCFL in 2005 and folded in 2006.

Banning Eageles 2005-
Join the CFA in 2005 then folded at the end of the season. several members went on to become the California Raiders.

Southern California Cardinals 1993-2002
The only ever CFA back to back champion the Cardinals won the title in 1999 and 2000 season. Team folded in 2002. Team owner Bo Brooks passed away in 2005.

Bakersfield Panthers 2000- present
Joined CFA in 2000 to 2005. are currently members of the LCFL.

California Bandits 2001-2003
Joined the CFA in 2001 to 2003, Team changed name to California Predators in 2003 and are currently in the WCFL.

Corona Express 2001-2003
Joined the CFA in 2001 and made it to the playoffs in 2002,team folded in 2003

Covina Valley Impact 2000-2003
Joined CFA in 2000 but never really became a contender. team folded in 2003, Head Coach Mike Fuller went on to start the SGV Rhinos.

Pomona Valley Dragons 1996-2003
One of the founding members of the CFA the Dragons went to the league championship in 2000 only to loose to the Cardinals 9-0. Dragons merged with the Makos in 2004 to become the Smash.

Inglewood Blackhawks 2001-present
The Blackhawks joined the CFA in 2001 and lost in the championship to the Makos that year. The Blackhawks wnet on to win the CFA championship over the Rhinos in 2003. They are currently with the LCFL.

Los Angeles Monachs 2000-
The Monachs never got the ball rolling and after a tough 2000 season they folded.

San Bernardino Vipers 1997-2000
The Vipers were a powerhouse for a while and came close to winning the championship in the CFA. team folded in 2000.

West Coast Sharks 1996-present
The Sharks went on to win the CFA championship over the Blackhawks in 2002. they are now with the LCFL.

Southern California Stallions 2001-2003
The Stallions another good team that made it to the semi-finals in 2001 only to loose to the Makos. The team became the Steelers in 2003.

Southern California Smash 2004-2006
The Smash were one of the best teams in California and only lost 4 league games in 3 seasons. The Smash went to the semi-finals each season but came up short. Rumors are they may be back in 2008.

Los Angeles Gunslingers 2002-2005
The Gunslingers were another very good team that just came up short. The team is coming back in 2008 with the CFA.

Los Angeles Inferno 2001-2004
The Inferno lead by coach Doug Banks had a decent run before folding in 2004.

Long Beach Lions 2002-present
The Lions went on to become the CFA champions in 2005 when they defeated the Steelers. they are currently with the LCFL.

South East Raiders 2002-2004
The Raiders were 0-10 their first season then came out on fire the next year. They changed their name to the Thunder in 2004 and are members of the SWFL.

San Diego Warriors 2004-2005
The Warriors went 9-3 in 2004 only defeats came from the Rhinos and Smash. The Warriors did not fair as well in 2005 and folded at the end of the season.

Orange County Makos 2000-2003
The Makos went on to win the CFA championship in 2000 over the Blackhawks and were rated #1 in the country in 2002. merged with the Dragons to become the Smash from 2004-2006, are back in 2008 with the CFA.

North County Cobras 2004-present
The Cobras have yet to find their stride but are still on the move and members of the LCFL.

Las Vegas Stampede 2001- 2002
The team never took the field as a member of the CFA but played several bye dates with CFA teams. Became the Las Vegas Cobras in 2003.

San Diego Saints 2001-2003
The Saints also had a good run losing in double overtime to the Rhinos in 2003 semi-finals. Team folded in 2004.

Victor Valley Sting 2004-
Another one hit wonder they went 0-10 in 2004 and folded at the end of the season.

Southern California Steelers 2004-present
The Steelers went to the 2005 championship in the CFA only to lose to the Lions. They are currently members of the LCFL.

San Gabriel Valley Rhinos 2003-2004
The Rhinos had the dream season in 2004 when they went 18-0 and won the FWFA national championship. The Rhinos will be back in the CFA in 2008.
